Heading somewhere and heard, “Damn shame, still no sense of direction”… out of nowhere.
—Jig3125
Funny…
Feet moving.
Plans made.
Destination somewhere ahead.
Confidence doing most of the navigation.
Then, out of nowhere:
“Damn shame… still no sense of direction.”
Excuse me?
Who said that?
Nobody around.
Just me…
Direction isn’t always about knowing exactly where you’re headed.
It’s recognizing that you’re moving.
A compass doesn’t tell you why you’re traveling.
It simply tells you which way is which.
The rest is up to you.
Of course, that’s assuming you can agree on what “up” means.
“Still no sense of direction.”
Maybe…
Still heading somewhere.
Sometimes that’s enough.
You don’t always need to know the final destination to take the next step.
Just need enough direction to keep moving.
If you happen to get lost?
Look around.
You might discover you were never really lost.
You were simply somewhere you hadn’t planned to be.
Which way is up?
Depends where you’re standing.
