Modern men is Tribesman's… Tribesman is Tribesmen.

—Jig3125

We act like tribes are ancient—like that’s some history book thing. But look around. Everybody’s in something. A circle. A side. A comment section. A group chat. A block. A brand. A team. A timeline that tells them what to wear, what to hate, what to call “real.”

Modern men is tribesman’s.

We still move by codes. We still look for belonging. We still copy the language of whoever we’re trying to stand next to. We still defend people we never met like they raised us. We still treat disagreement like disrespect. We still pick a flag before we pick the facts.

It’s not always bad. A tribe can save you. A tribe can teach you. A tribe can keep you from folding when life gets heavy. In the Bronx, tribe is family, even when it’s not blood. It’s the ones who show up. The ones who remember you. The ones who tell you the truth without trying to embarrass you.

Tribes can also shrink you.

That’s when tribesman becomes tribesmen.

Not one man thinking—many men repeating.

Same opinions. Same anger. Same jokes. Same enemies. Same “we” and “them.” Same fear of being the odd one out.

The wild part is, the tribe doesn’t even have to be physical anymore. It can be digital. It can be a feed. It can be an algorithm that keeps handing you the same energy until you think it’s the whole world.

So I’m trying to move different.

Wanting community without the cage. Brotherhood without the brainwash. A circle that lets you grow, not just fit in. A tribe that can handle questions. A tribe that doesn’t need a villain to feel united.
