No bull… the market bear fruit.

—Jig3125

People love a bull market.

Stocks go up.

Headlines get optimistic.

Everyone suddenly becomes a genius.

Amazing how often that happens.

A rising market has a way of making experts out of strangers.

The bear market, however, gets a different reception.

Panic.

Fear.

Doom.

The financial equivalent of everyone running around looking for an exit.

Funny…

The same people celebrating bargains at the grocery store seem offended when stocks go on sale.

“Half off?”

Wonderful.

“Thirty percent lower than last year?”

Terrifying…

Interesting logic.

The bull gets the applause.

The bear gets the blame.

Yet opportunity has a habit of hiding where enthusiasm isn’t.

A fruit tree doesn’t become valuable the day you pick the fruit.

It becomes valuable while it’s growing.

Quietly.

Patiently.

Long before anyone is celebrating the harvest.

Markets work the same way.

The bull shows the results.

The bear offers the chance.

One gets the spotlight.

The other does most of the setup.

No bull…

The market bear fruit.

Some people just get distracted by the animal.
