The sun jokingly said there’s no oxygen in space…

Nobody knew how to respond.

Technically correct.

Yet somehow coming from the brightest object in the neighborhood, it felt a little suspicious.

“Then explain yourself.”

The funny part is that the Sun isn’t actually burning like a campfire.

It’s powered by nuclear fusion, not combustion.

Hydrogen atoms are fusing into helium in the Sun’s core, releasing enormous amounts of energy. It glows and gives off heat and light, but it doesn’t need oxygen to do it.
