Tulips… out of the darkness they grew.
—Jig3125
Night has a funny way of changing the scenery.
What looked ordinary during the day can become something else entirely.
The garden gets quiet.
The colors disappear.
The shadows take over.
Then, somehow…
Tulips.
Standing there.
Growing out of the darkness like they had somewhere to be.
There it is.
A little taller.
A little brighter.
A little more impossible to ignore.
That’s why the phrase “burning the midnight oil” feels appropriate.
Some ideas need darkness.
Some creations need a quiet place to develop before they’re ready for daylight.
Sometimes…
You stay up late enough to discover something you weren’t looking for.
Tulips.
Out of the darkness they grew.
Not everything that emerges from the dark is something to fear.
Sometimes…
It’s something blooming.
