I’m not here to mock anybody. I’m here to document energy.

Art has a language of its own.

Not every brushstroke is meant to flatter.

Not every distortion is meant to offend.

Sometimes an artist exaggerates a feature to reveal an idea.

Sometimes a portrait becomes less about a face and more about a feeling.

If you recognize yourself—or someone else—in the work, know that it was created from curiosity, not contempt.

This is not an attempt to diminish a person.

Art asks questions that photographs rarely ask.

What if a single expression could tell an entire story?

Every portrait is an interpretation.

No two artists will see the same face in the same way.

That is the beauty of creating.

Agreement is optional.

Conversation is inevitable.

So, before judging the portrait(s), consider judging the perspective instead.

In no way is this portrait(s) an expression of disrespect.

It is simply another way of seeing.

And I know how it goes: people will project their own story onto the work. They’ll assume the worst because that’s easier than asking a question. But I’m telling you straight—this is craft. This is intention. This is me being “Not a regular artist.”
