In-between precipitating and evaporating… ah fish out of water huh.

Like fish—

we are always in water.

We just call ours something else.

A fish probably doesn’t spend much time thinking about water.

It just swims.

Until somebody pulls them out.

Then suddenly—

water matters…

Human beings are like that.

We move through our own invisible environment every day, rarely noticing what surrounds us.

We’re always in water.

Between it falling and rising.

Between it arriving and leaving.

Between it becoming and it becoming something else.

Precipitating.

Evaporating.

And somewhere in between…

Plash…

A little splash in the middle of it all.

“out of water” isn’t about having no water.

It’s just realizing the water was there the whole time.

Just like fish.
