King and Queens… What a lovely story.
—Jig3125
There was once a King.
Or perhaps there were many Kings.
History cannot seem to agree.
What history does remember are the Queens.
The Queens who inspired wars.
The Queens who inspired poems.
The Queens who inspired dreams.
A King may wear a crown, but a crown alone does not make a kingdom. A kingdom is built from the people who surround it, challenge it, and give it purpose.
The Queens were not all the same.
Some brought peace.
Some brought chaos.
Some brought wisdom.
Some brought lessons.
Each arrived with a story of her own, changing the kingdom in ways both seen and unseen.
The King searched for answers.
The Queens asked questions.
The King built walls.
The Queens opened doors.
The King thought he ruled the kingdom.
The Queens knew better.
Years passed.
Seasons changed.
Faces came and went.
Yet the story continued.
Perhaps that is what makes it such a lovely story.
Because it is a story about people trying to understand one another.
A story about attraction.
A story about admiration.
A story about heartbreak.
A story about growth.
The King learned that crowns are heavy.
The Queens learned that hearts can be heavier.
In the end, the kingdom remained.
The story endured.
A King.
Many Queens.
And all the beautiful complications that come with them.
What a lovely story.
