H₂ Ohhh

The creator of water is a genius.
—Jig3125
No color.
No flavor.
No complicated instructions.
Just add it to almost anything and somehow…
it works.
Thirsty?
Water.
Hot?
Water.
Cold?
Water.
Need to clean something?
Water.
Grow something?
Water.
Make coffee?
Water.
Make soup?
Still water.
It’s almost suspicious how useful it is.
And then there’s the name.
H₂O.
Two hydrogen atoms.
One oxygen atom.
Three little letters that somehow hold together one of the biggest necessities of life.
H₂Ohhh.
Get it.
That’s the genius.
Water doesn’t need to be the star of the show.
It supports everything else.
Plants reach for it.
Animals depend on it.
Humans spend billions trying to find it in places where it isn’t supposed to be.
Meanwhile, here on Earth, it falls from the sky.
Sometimes it arrives as rain.
Sometimes snow.
Sometimes ice.
Sometimes you’re standing outside during a downpour wondering why you didn’t bring an umbrella.
Same stuff.
Different attitude.
And water has range.
It can carve mountains.
Fill oceans.
Feed forests.
Turn a desert into a garden.
Yet somehow…
All from two H’s and an O.
H₂Ohhh.
Genius.
