Rubin’s Observatory not atta vanity… just combing through; Stop cawing.
—Jig3125
The sky doesn’t need a mirror.
It needs a good comb.
Rubin’s up there looking through the cosmic
stars, galaxies, dust…
whatever else decided to show up for the picture.
Not checking its hair.
Not fixing its face.
Not worried about vanity.
Just combing through millions upon millions of cosmic possibilities.
Stop cawing…
We’re trying to see.
Because Rubin isn’t looking for compliments.
That’s the difference between a vanity mirror
and an observatory.
One asks,
“How do I look?”
The other asks,
“What’s out there?”
And if you happen to be a doe?
Well…
Let Rubin comb through.
No vanity.
No fuss.
Just a celestial grooming.
There’s a universe to see.
